Have you ever thought about moving to a Condo on the Riviera Maya Mexico? Well, this is your chance to make that dream come true!
My wife and I have been living here full-time inside of the Grand Sirenis Resort gated property since April 2020 and it truly is beautiful. Located midway between Playa del Carmen & Tulum, we are remote but still have access to a private beach area with a beautiful, quiet bay; a beach club; a health club; an Oxxo convenience store; a take-out restaurant; a pizza place. We are close to local stores and markets and also 10 minutes away by car from a Mall that includes a big Chedraui Supermarket, Chinese Restaurant, CiBanco Bank, Pharmacy, Sports Store, and more.
Although there are many new Condo properties that can be purchased, they are not necessarily built for permanent (or even 6 months) residency. The kitchens are generally tiny, with very little cupboard space and the appliances are cheap. We were lucky enough to find our condo in time to make design changes to the kitchen area! We had them replace the included appliances with a wall-oven (electric/convection), a large Microwave, a five-burner gas stove top (all Whirlpool), and a double stainless-steel sink. We widened the island and had them add pull-out storage all along the length and power outlets to both sides. We added overhead lighting.
We finished our kitchen off with a Samsung 26 cf French-Door stainless steel refrigerator/freezer and added a reverse osmosis water system for the ice-maker and “water through the door” features, as well as filtered water at our sink. We purchased an 18kg (36 lb) Samsung Washer & Dryer for our laundry needs. We had a carpenter create a custom wall unit to give us some more storage space and to hold our 65” television. And we had him create door frames for all of the doorways to give our space the more “finished” look and feel that we are used to. We have custom painted all of the walls and added tile accents to the walls in the kitchen and living room area, as well as vertical blinds on all of the windows. We purchased high-standard UV reducing film for all of our windows and sliding glass doors (which run the complete length of the Condo) and also had fiberglass/polyester retractable screens added to the door openings (including the Entry Door). All of the items that I have mentioned above would need to be purchased individually by you when buying a new unit.
We are selling our Condo with everything you would need to live day-to-day (beds, eating utensils, plates, cooking/baking items, towels, sheets, living room furniture and shelf units, etc.)
We would love to answer any questions you have.
